The Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis presents
ONGOING STRUGGLES AND THE SEARCH FOR RESOLUTION
Two Saturday Morning Panels
February 9 and May 17, 2008
At one time, psychoanalysis confronted problems that appeared to be more or less resolvable. Today, however, it faces complex issues that seem to question rather than accommodate such a viewpoint. Taking this dilemma as its cue, the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis has created two Saturday morning panels designed to examine ongoing struggles as they apply to difficult clinical issues. These issues resist the concept of resolution and instead represent life-long battles that seem to challenge and defy our desire for closure.
